This is a crucial role to lead the Marketing strategy and team responsible for year-on-year growth through new customer acquisition and repeat customer retention in Northern Europe! Reporting to the Head of Brand & Acquisition and working alongside other global markets, the primary objective is to achieve agreed revenue targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience!
What you will be doing
- Leads the development and execution of the regional new customer acquisition marketing strategy (NCA) for Northern Europe, aligned to the global strategy, in order to meet objectives and revenue targets
- Develop and activate marketing plans to raise brand and product awareness in Northern Europe, in order to seek new ways to acquire new customers (such as launches for new destinations, new boats, etc.
- Supports the execution of CRM and customer retention marketing at a regional level
- Track, analyze and report on campaign performance on an ongoing basis working with ecommerce, data & analytics specialists, and providing regular feedback to line managers and in key meetings e.g. weekly trading calls
- Acts as local Northern European guide on competitor activity and insight
- Leads regional execution of the Le Boat brand identity across all activity in Northern Europe, in line with global plans
- Leads local PR activity including agency management, press trips, press releases and blogger relations
- Leads regional execution of social media strategy in Northern Europe, working with the Global Campaign Manager and Central Content Team
- Leads / owns relationships with regional agencies including Media & PR, and supports regional Marketing Teams with supplier discussions if ever required
- Work with internal departments (and external agencies if required) to implement CRO, SEO, and PPC at a local level
- Working with Ecommerce team, ensure all regional website domains are maintained and driven consistently for NE Markets - including regional initiatives, promotions, message creation and content blogs
- Owns the planning and execution of shows and event activity across designated regions and markets in Northern Europe
- Leads regional marketing partnerships in Northern Europe including media partnerships and tourist boards
- Identifies Northern Europe Marketing team training needs, and crafts clear capability plans for teams to improve performance, including development plans with regular reviews, and any other specialist training as required
- Provides the Northern Europe marketing teams with growth targets and performance updates, and distributing all trading figures and updates to the team
- Responsible for effectively leading marketing budgets for Northern Europe
- Accountable for cash management within Northern Europe including people and resource management, and the effective planning and administration of supplier payments
- Responsible for setting up and leading supplier and partner relationships where relevant (also working alongside the Head of Partnerships and Business Development as required)
What we are looking for
- 3-5 years marketing experience
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Can analyse trading performance including data from internal reports and digital insights (including Google Analytics) to make recommendations and action plans to increase revenue
- Proficient in planning and leading resources (internal and external), able to make a realistic assessment of the resources needed to achieve results, prioritizing the team and priorities to deliver to time, budget and agreed standards
About You
- An effective people manager, able to create personal development plans, provide regular informal coaching and feedback, and ensure people grow in their jobs by creating opportunities for learning and development
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, both in terms of creating and personal delivery to team members at multiple levels
- Ideally a knowledge of Photoshop and HubSpot is preferred, but not crucial
- Proficiency in English and German language is important
