What you’ll do
As a German Localization Specialist / Marketing Execution Associate (f/m/d), your role will involve the execution of SAP’s localization strategy and operating model for programs/campaigns, web content and other marketing channels. You will manage content review and localization to enhance the relevance and appeal of marketing content for local audiences. By leveraging localization best practices and providing routine reporting, you will contribute to our mission of effectively communicating SAP's vision to our global audience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing skillful, in-language review and editing services for an array of marketing content. This will ensure that all material meets SAP's stringent quality standards.
- Independently reviewing and validating the quality of translated content, adapting it for local audiences in line with our defined Localization Guidelines and consulting with regional solution area experts where necessary.
- Building strong relationships through close collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders. This includes translation service providers as well as regional and local solution marketers and web managers.
- Regularly reporting status updates by leveraging the relevant tools at your disposal.
- Actively contributing to the ongoing improvement of our processes and tools, ensuring that we remain efficient and agile in our operations.
What you bring
Your professional and educational background should include:
- Relevant experience in content marketing and/or localization.
- Proven proficiency in proofreading and editing in German, alongside the cultural sensitivity necessary to adapt content to local cultural contexts and target audiences.
- Experienced in project management with an ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- The ability to work comfortably with a complex tool landscape. Prior understanding or knowledge of content localization processes and content management tools is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Your academic qualifications should include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, linguistics, translations or a related subject.

You will be a part of the Global Marketing Localization Team within Corporate Marketing. As a German-speaking Localization Specialist, you will engage with a multicultural and geographically diverse team, focused on the Germany and MEE region but collaborating with team members based across the globe. You will join a team of dynamic localization expects used to working remotely in an international environment, where diversity and cultural differences are a must.
