These challenges await you as Cyber Security Engineer (m/w/d)
Adapt and adhere to the Valeo CyberSecurity product lifecycle process to achieve compliance with J3061, UNECE WP29 R155 and R156 and ISO/SAE 21434 according to project and customer requirements.
Support conversations, identify cybersecurity needs with customers and internal stakeholders, and ensure a common understanding of cybersecurity requirements
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to develop ADAS product cybersecurity requirements (system/architecture)
Support Valeo's supplier, R&D, manufacturing and customer OEM cybersecurity teams to ensure Valeo's needs and requirements are known, understood and communicated
Ensure that all applicable cybersecurity methods, processes, and policies are properly followed on the project and that the product meets all cybersecurity requirements for the project from design through production and into retirement
Ensure that the solution is feasible, does not compromise the core functions of the product, is testable, meets customer requirements and is consistent with Valeo's standard solutions.
Create the following project work packages according to the CyberSecurity methodology for Valeo products:
[System] CyberSecurity Risk Analysis (SeRA)
[System] CyberSecurity Concept (SeCo)
[System] Execution of CyberSecurity Tests
[System] CyberSecurity Incident Management
[System] Planning and preparation of cyber security tests
Cybersecurity requirements for production (interface with IT/IS teams)
Remedial actions for post-production incident management
Coordinate with the project's Functional CyberSecurity Manager for all other project CS work packages. Depending on the complexity of the project, you may be required to fill the role of Cybersecurity Manager
Perform technical security analysis as part of cybersecurity solution development.
You will work closely with product test groups to ensure cybersecurity mechanisms can be tested in the development, production, and post-production phases and support regular security audits
Participate in internal/external cybersecurity reviews and formal cybersecurity reviews with the Functional CyberSecurity Assessor (FSeA)
Participate in monitoring the implementation of cybersecurity requirements, testing progress, and status of reviews
Develop and understand required supplier hardware and software components for Valeo products and work closely with suppliers to understand cybersecurity technology roadmaps, i.e. embedded HW elements for cybersecurity functions, HTAs, knowledge of embedded SW elements as part of cybersecurity solutions
Participate in internal/external cybersecurity working groups as needed to define cybersecurity process standards in the automotive industry
You inspire us with that:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/systems engineering/computer science (ideally Master's degree in electrical engineering/systems engineering/computer science)
At least 2 years industry experience
Currently active cybersecurity certification
Experience with software quality and processes (e.g. ASPICE, CMMI, IATF16949)
Experience in systems engineering, architecture, or electronic product development (understanding of embedded archite
