Your responsibilities

• Write high quality code following solid engineering principles and software engineering best practices
• Review the code of engineers at different seniority levels to ensure that only high-quality code makes it to production
• Contribute on the improvement of the quality and health-level of our codebase, processes, and teams
• Collaborate with product and customer experience folks to better understand the feature you are building or the bugs you are fixing

Your qualifications

• You communicate with clarity, concision, and empathy
• You strive to build and maintain emotionally safe environments, where teams can do their best work
• You care deeply about code that reads well, is easy to maintain, and is very well-tested
• You take initiative, are self-managed and dislike being micro-managed.
• You see things through without needing reminders or too much intervention and follow-up as required
• You are an expert JavaScripter and/or Rubyist
• You are inquisitive in nature and try to understand the product, business domain, and the users’ needs
• You reflect critically about your team’s work and processes, constantly striving for improvement
• Your proficiency in German and your full-stack experience is a bonus
