We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

You will be part of the "Group Digital Assistant" team which develops digital assistants for the brands of the Volkswagen Group. We are working in an agile environment to deliver innovative features for conversational interfaces and proactive assistance on various customer touchpoints (in-car and beyond), following our product vision for the digital assistant: “We make mobility accessible in the most simple way”.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop cloud-based services and integrate external APIs for new digital assistant capabilities
• Develop backend APIs for different frontends (e.g. mobile apps, cars)
• Continuously monitor & improve application/services in production as part of an interdisciplinary, agile DevOps team
• Continously improve technology, toolchain, built-in quality

WHO YOU ARE

• Academic degree in computer science or related subject
• 6+ years experience in software development for cloud-based applications
• Strong programming skills in Java, especially Springboot. (Python is a plus)
• Comfortable working with Git, Docker and CI/CD environments (e.g. Azure DevOps)
• Experience with agile development (Scrum, SAFe) is a plus
