What You’ll Do
- Propose and build cost controlling strategies from the bottom up, embrace the “blank sheet” with regard cost management and control
- EMEA part costs analysis across service, remanufacturing, supercharging, energy, used vehicles
- Calculate and maintain standard costs for manufactured products across EMEA. Ensure accurate and timely updates to reflect changes in cost structures
- Analyse, understand and monitor purchase price variances across EMEA (incl. intercompany)
- Sharply and accurately identify cost risks and opportunities; and drive alignment around operational and financial actions to either minimize or mitigate risks
- Ensuring a high level of posting and closing quality in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to be prepared, taking into account all relevant accounting standards and internal group requirements
- Achieve real time monthly closing without compromising accounting quality and accuracy – including accruals, cost centre and cost unit accounting. Running variance analysis of performance, and preparation of management reports
- Reconciliation of inhouse systems and work towards full alignment, building visualization reporting and analysis – improve efficiency and presentation of data retrieved from internal systems
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant professional financial accounting or auditing experience in the Manufacturing industry
- Academic degree in Finance/Business Administration, Data Analysis/Mining or comparable experience
- Costing experience a Big PLUS
- Intercompany experience a Big PLUS
- Skilled in Excel, ERP systems, and solving advanced Excel modelling challenges. SQL/Power BI would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a nice-to-have but not essential)
- Hands-on mentality and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks whilst under pressure
