Vantage is looking for ambitious, detail-oriented, hands-on Senior Schedulers in EMEA to support our portfolio of projects from New Site Development (NSD) through Construction and Commissioning to project close out. You will join the Construction team and provide professional scheduling capabilities, using your experience and VDC’s procedures to create, critically assess and report on project schedules. You will be expected to guide and support the project team's decision making, ensure schedule best practice and VDC planning processes are followed.
Because there are multiple roles available the job functions and duties may vary slightly from that listed below. However, all candidates will be expected to understand and where required be able to perform the below functions and duties as part of their role.

Responsible for the development of early project schedules, working closely with the NSD/Construction teams to build reliable schedules based upon known benchmarking (both internal and external)

Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for scheduling

Support teams in assessing General Contractor (GC) schedule capability and competency in advance of signing contracts

Support the onboarding of GCs to ensure understanding of and compliance with the Vantage Data Centre (VDC) Contractor schedule specification

Responsible for project schedule health checks and general schedule quality assurance against GC developed schedules

Monitor schedule changes and identify potential risk of delays

Maintaining the project schedules in the P6 Database

Ensure the Primavera database is updated in a timely manner to support portfolio reporting

Consolidate data and build up schedule benchmarking competence

Create, review, and analyse critical path schedules independently, in an efficient and comprehensive manner

Develop comprehensive plans that communicate the programs, projects, and strategic goals

Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project’s goals (verbal, written, graphically)

Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures

Host and train teams on pull planning.

Work with vertical peers focusing on continuous improvement to our business processes

Support the project teams in risk analysis including performance of QSRA as required.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of planning experience using Primavera P6.

Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required

Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects

Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of design

Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a requirement

Expert knowledge and extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools, such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word
