Project Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)

Your Tasks

Checking customer enquiries for feasibility of quality-relevant issues such as applicable standards and norms, quality assurance requirements, welding and testing technology, painting, etc.
Checking the customer contract for quality-relevant deviations from the offer
Creating and updating standard documents and procedures as well as project-related QA documents such as project quality plans, inspection guidelines, inspection plans, test plans and standard specifications
Checking delivery specifications, welding plans and test instructions for non-destructive testing, including ensuring document control
Coordination of project-specific test centres such as customer, acceptance authority and suppliers
Production monitoring and carrying out project audits at suppliers and on the construction site with regard to compliance with the specified quality requirements and delivery deadlines
Preparing project-specific deviation reports with the project management and monitoring their rectification
Checking project-related, technical quality documentation regarding structure, content and completeness
Processing customer complaints and cases of damage

Your Profile

Graduate engineer or technician specialising in production engineering, materials technology.
Knowledge in the field of welding technology and non-destructive material testing
At least 5 years of experience in the field of quality assurance in plant construction
Knowledge of the regulations commonly used in plant construction
MS Office application (Excel & Word)
PLM/DMS, AutoCAD 2D, Primavera
Confident manner in dealing with customers, suppliers, authorities, etc.
Assertiveness, ability to work in a team
Flexibility & mobility
Good judgement
Business fluent in German and English
