Your responsibilities
- As Commercial Project Manager CCU/S (f/m/d) you lead commercial project development and financial modeling activities for 3-digit-million Euro CCU/S projects. You develop and implement end-to-end commercial solutions across the entire value chain
- You direct the implementation of key risk processes at all stages of the project development cycle
- You manage the project "revenue line" to determine commercially viable revenue streams for CCU and CCS solutions, including market intelligence and competitor analysis activities
- You develop innovative pricing schemes and lead negotiations with customers for biogenic carbon and Carbon Removal Credits, as well as other third parties, in close cooperation with a cross-functional, international project team
- You own and head the Key Performance Indicator reporting, including external benchmarking activities
- You steer external consultants, suppliers, and partners
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience in the energy industry or in carbon related businesses / bodies
- University degree in industrial engineering or (energy) economics with a strong technical background; practical or academic background in the field of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage is benefitial
- Proven track record in commercial project development, financial modelling as well as commercial negotiations in the energy or chemical industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset and creativity to interlink technical, regulatory, commercial and legal aspects
- Stakeholder management and communication skills to not only liaise effectively with a diverse environment, but also present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Good sense of humour and positive attitude, ability to interact and motivate project team members
- Written and spoken English fluency is essential; ideally German native speaker or B2 level, knowledge of Nordic languages is a plus
- Availability for short business trips in Europe to meet customers and other stakeholders
