We develop a standardized cockpit and body platform for all future electronic-architectures. It will provide the base for the high performance computing platform enabling a rich, easy to use and comfortable customer experience across all Volkswagen Group brands.
This includes the realization of new or improved vehicle functionalities, the derivation of new technical security concepts as well as their implementation in security mechanisms within the corresponding high computing platform (ECU).
- Responsible for the security platform on a high performance computing system (ECU)
- Specification of the security concept and security requirements based on a detailed security risk analysis
- Consolidation of security concepts with interface partners, especially suppliers, and cross-function / security department
- Planning of security-relevant software development items and coordination of the implementation and verification with the supplier up to series approval
- Pro-actively drive the security release process with release documentation and release recommendation
- Regular status reporting to committees and management
- Drive the handling of software and hardware defects in the security environment and close security gaps discovered in penetration testing
- Support field process for vulnerability management and incident management
- Successfully completed technical university degree in computer science or a comparable degree
- Relevant professional experience in the field of (embedded) software & hardware development, engineering, or IT security management, automotive skills are a plus
- Profound background in common cyber security technologies, attacking methods and appropriate counter measures
- Network protocol know-how and detailed knowledge about low level programming languages
- Programming and configuration experience with Linux / Android systems
- Detailed knowledge on security hardening measures for operating systems and use of network protocols
- Eagerness to define security specifications and concepts, ability to organize and drive project relevant activities
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
