As part of our international team you are responsible for the certifications of explosion protection within our electrical Hardware development. We are a team of multiple nationalities in different locations and look for an innovative mind to join us in Karlsruhe or other German DI locations.
What part will you play?
- You are responsible for independent proceeding of certification projects for industrial products
- You coordinate the Cooperation with international notified bodies e.g. FM, CSA, UL, DEKRA, TÜV
- Support during manufacturing audit process
- Delivering a compilation of technical documentation as part of certification process with the notified bodies
- As a key player in our certification process you will consult product management, quality management, development and sales to gather all relevant information
- You manage the tracking of the required initial approvals and prolongations
- The Definition of approval concepts and requirements to support the development of actual solutions based on customer-specific country lists within the development teams is also part of your tasks
What you need to make real what matters.
- You have successfully completed your universal degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Long-term professional experience in developing Hardware or electronic components
- In your previous jobs you were able to gain knowledge in electronics, mechanics and materials technologies
- You have solid knowledge of current Windows and MS Office versions (file management, formatting, spreadsheet)
- Profound expertise in explosion protection using European and International Standards (e.g. Atex, IEC Ex…etc.)
- Experience in the development of explosion protected systems, devices and components is an advantage
- As a person you have a high degree of responsibility, assertiveness, as well as confident acting in a dynamic and international business environment
- You have already been involved in international projects and understand to connect and evaluate the needs of different stakeholders
- You have a strong and direct communication, which is shown in your fluent English speaking and writing skills, German language skills should be at least on a good level
