We are hiring a Senior Account Manager for our Life Science and Healthcare team. You'll be managing each client’s specific information, content and services requirements in the life sciences development cycle. The territory will comprise around 10+ high potential accounts, predominantly in Central and Eastern Europe. The Sr AM is responsible for developing new business, building client loyalty and revenue in line with local and corporate strategies
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

5+ Years of experience in a sales role

Life Sciences - drug development cycle and treatment area knowledge highly desirable

Science based degree

Fluency in English and German

What will you be doing in this role?

Develop a territory plan, as well as individual strategic account plans, focusing on retention and new business growth strategies

Laser focus on client relationships to ensure retention of existing revenue, while broadening the share of wallet and increasing client penetration at senior levels.

Execute the territory plan and individual strategic account plans, in line with the local and corporate strategies.

Retain and/or grow each client's revenue base and be able to forecast accurately.

Keep accurate records and forecast on Salesforce.com – updated in real time.

Maintain a strong matrix of relationships at appropriate levels within the client organizations, always striving for senior stakeholders and decision makers.

Presents a consistent and professional image of Clarivate to clients, while building high levels of client satisfaction.

Contribute to individual and team targets and collaboration efforts.

Collaborates with a virtual, cross-functional team serving the global business.

Continually build life sciences industry knowledge to keep pace with trends. Keep abreast of client trends and news items e.g. annual reports, mergers, acquisitions and key messages from senior management are all examples of this

Ability to develop an understanding of business challenges related to drug development

Dynamic communication and presentation skills in large and small group settings
About the Team
This role will report into the VP Segment Sales (Life Sciences & Healthcare) working as part of a team of Account Managers, Product Sales Managers, Solution Consultants and Customer Success Managers covering the Central & Eastern Europe region.
Hours of Work
Full time role, remote work available, must be based in Germany, 20-30% travel required within the role
