Overall Purpose of The Job

Then we are seeking you to join our team as a Business Development Manager for Oceanic Services in Northern Europe! As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth in the region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team, with plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development.
Your key tasks in this role will be:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within Northern Europe, focusing on the oceanic services sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure successful delivery of services and long-term business growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies, ensuring a customer-centric approach that meets client needs and expectations.
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting to drive decision making and strategy. Key Responsibilities and Tasks
1. To promote Oceanic Services in the German & North European Market
2. Follow up on new leads, establish Oceanics presence in the North European Market and convert opportunities into new business.
3. To maintain and grow relationships with current clients.
4. To assist in resolving issues with current clients promptly
5. To work closely with the MS Team and the Senior Management of Oceanic in creating new business opportunities.
5. To assist in developing and organizing sales events, multimedia visual aids, and other promotional materials.
6. To communicate with clients in order to ensure smooth delivery of service.
7. To monitor quality of service delivered and to work closely with Service Excellence department to ensure that these meet / exceed client and crew expectations.
8. To be conversant with the company’s safety & quality policy, its objectives and the duties / obligations this job
description carries within the company.
10. To communicate interoffice issues as required.
11. Any other duties which management may require to be carried out.
Required Experience
Experience in Marketing & Sales.
Educated to degree level, with major in a related discipline.
Have very good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
Have high personal integrity standards, a positive outlook and be self-motivated to develop & succeed.
Be able to cooperate well with others, be a team player and work in tight schedules
Have strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Presentation Skills.
Have good understanding of Marine and good analytical skills.
Have good command of English language written and oral.
Desirable:
Have good command of the German written and oral. Other languages will be beneficial. What can I expect in return?
