As a Project Development Manager (m/f/d) for Bauer owned buildings properties with main target to maximize the value of existing RE portfolio. This individual is responsible for the implementation of the Bauer RE strategy across the Group portfolio - preparing and implementing property development plan and related projects for each individual property including the analysis as well as a good understanding of RE market, rental, and capital investments trends.
The position is located in Hamburg.
Your responsibilities
- Lead medium and large group real estate projects with cross-functional teams.
- Responsible for projects organisation set-up, RE project targets and space requirements, setting up and controlling timeline and budget, project business case development and monitoring, stakeholder management, investment approval, group standards implementation, developed space usage and space renting strategy.
- Implementing group workplace strategy for owned locations used by Bauer group.
- Leading feasibility studies for development projects, building and land valuations, land and property purchase, sale transactions and planning and permitting process for real estate projects.
- Select and manage external design teams, RE service providers and re professionals to contracted time, cost and quality in their work.
- Provide expert real estate/architectural/construction decisions, guidance, and consultancy to RE projects in all project phases.
- Implement and constant improvement of group RE standards and procedures: (portfolio management, workplace guidelines, look and feel, investments approvals, lease contracts management, processes, templates, internal benchmarking, frameworks agreements etc.)
Your profile
- You have a university degree with major in civil engineering, architecture, or real estate studies and several years of work experience in the context of project planning, project management and workplace strategy with proven track record of delivering results.
- You bring experience with project development, project planning, project management and construction for commercial properties in Germany and of building high value business cases & mobilizing high value investments.
- You have experience and expertise in real estate transactions, workplace strategy and office projects planning and construction as well as a strong knowledge on Germany regulations and restriction regarding planning processes, regulations, and restrictions.
- Ability to communicate target-oriented and work in a Matrix structure.
- Your German language skills are at native speaker level.
