To get closer to our goal, we are looking for a:
Junior Product Developer - Liquid Food (f/m/d)

Full-time 40 hours

Tasks

As team member of the R&D department, you will contribute to the research and optimization of the liposomal technology. Circa 80% of this research focusses on the development of new dietary supplements as liquid liposomal formulations in the R&D laboratory, of which you will be the expert and responsible for.

You will:

• evaluate new ingredients and their applicability
• produce pilot formulations at the laboratory scale
• carry on stability tests on new products
• collaborate with the department of Quality in joint projects

• support the routine tasks of R&D, including research on various topics
• support the Production team within the scope of product development
• creation of samples for customers in coordination with the Sale department
• assist the Marketing department on research on relevant topics on the dietary supplement industry and markets

Requirements

• completed master in the field of food engineering, chemistry, biotechnology or comparable scientific field
• knowledge of chemistry and ideally first previous experience in an analytic laboratory
• high affinity for laboratory work and standards
• strong interest in the food industry, including dietary supplements and plant extracts
• willing to research on various topics according to need
• strong communication skills and ability to describe complicated data in a concise and comprehensible manner to not-technical audience
• personal initiative, openness to new challenges
• solution-oriented mind-set and creativity for new solutions
• structured, organized, independent working style with attention to quality, detail and accuracy
• very good knowledge of English, written and spoken, German is a plus
