Reporting to the Senior Manager, E-commerce, the Senior E-commerce Associate is responsible for enabling regional revenue growth within the E-Procurement and E-Marketplace channels by working with customers and partners to enable a smooth and simple digital purchasing experience. The primary focus of the role is to build integrations with new customers while also managing requirements of existing customers to ensure a frictionless purchase pathway. Additionally, the role involves working on projects designed to improve the internal operations of the E-commerce team, including collaborating with partner teams and individuals to identify and solve pain points.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute the onboarding process for new e-procurement customers
- Support existing integrations to meet and optimise for customer needs
- Act as the primary point of contact with partner platforms and marketplaces
- Identify and solve pain points both for customers and with internal processes
- Use data-informed insights to understand and optimise E-Commerce performance
- Regular reporting on team and individual progress against goals and targets
- Work with the web development team to drive the evolution of our e-commerce offering
- Communicate the benefits of E-Commerce with partners across the organization
- Identify and coordinate new opportunities with existing partners
- Provide E-commerce training and support to the sales and customer support teams
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors degree, preferably in Life Sciences or Business
- 1+ years relevant experience within an E-commerce or digital B2B environment
- Experience with e-procurement systems (Ariba, LabCloud, SciQuest, etc), marketplaces (Amazon Business, Quartzy, etc.), and comparison sites (BioCompare, 1DegreeBio, etc.)
- 1+ years with customer facing experience
- Experience with reporting and analysis with demonstrated ability to understand and simply communicate what the data is showing
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with proven adherence to deadlines
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Unrivalled organisational and teamwork skills
- Strong computer literacy with demonstrated experience with MS Office or Google Suite softwares
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce, E-Procurement software or E-Marketplaces an asset
