ProVeg International is a growing network of ten independent legal entities represented in eleven countries across four continents (Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Spain, UK, and US). Another country may join from South East Asia later this year. All ProVeg entities are working towards a common mission and vision and with an aligned strategy which involves joint international projects as well as country-specific interventions. They get support from strong international departments such as People and Culture, Communications, Corporate & Institutional Engagement, Research, UN Advocacy, EU policy, and Operations.
The International Operations department ensures that all ProVeg activities are well-planned, aligned, impactful and evaluated. As the Senior International Coordinator you are in direct contact with each ProVeg country and help them to act in the most efficient way in our international network. This includes alignment with our annual and quarterly OKR process, projects, and ensuring that all country office plans are in line with ProVeg International's overall strategic goals. You will be working closely with the International Finance Coordinator, Legal Coordinator, Events Coordinator, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team, Global Engagement Manager, and other colleagues in the International Operations and other departments (IT, etc.).

Location: Remote (ideally in the UK, NL, BE, DE, PL, CZ, or ES)
Hours: 24 - 32 h per week (0.6-0.8 FTE)
Salary: depending on qualifications, experience and location. As an indication, if based in the UK, the salary range would be £30-34k pro rata (based on 1.0 FTE).
Work closely with country offices to develop and implement national strategic focus, OKRs, and projects, and ensure that all plans are in line with ProVeg International's strategic goals
Provide guidance and support to country office staff on planning processes and best practices
Monitor and track the progress of country office plans, and provide regular reports to the ProVeg International management team
Ensure effective communication and collaboration between country offices and the international departments
Support the development of country offices where needed, e.g., through organisational development advice, facilitation, and advising on relevant (team) training opportunities in cooperation with the People and Culture department
Provide input into international guidelines and policies where relevant
Flag and deal with risks, solve problems (or find relevant support for solutions), seize opportunities, and constantly consider possible synergies and increase the overall organisational impact ProVeg can have.
Required:
Proven experience with a minimum of four years of working in a coordinating role in an international Non-Profit organisation
A good understanding and knowledge of the global food system and the plant-based movement
Experience in developing and implementing strategies to increase alignment and synergies
Experience in working with people from different backgrounds
Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a team and to develop and maintain positive employee relations
Good understanding of and alignment with ProVeg International’s vision and mission
Self-starter personality with a curious nature and a drive to continuously optimise
Excellent project planning skills
Strong administrative and organisational skills with an excellent eye for detail
A positive, solution-focused, proactive and enthusiastic work attitude
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Desirable:
Degree or background in organisational development, business administration or non-profit management
OKR expertise (or KPI knowledge)
Proficiency in a second language
