THAT’S WHY WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA CONCEPT & EDITOR

We need someone that will take the creative lead on the global motorsport Instagram channel for Porsche. This person will drive the channel to its rightful place alongside the global brand channel and help us evolve it from a motorsport-only channel to a motorsport culture/lifestyle page, that is in line with the brand's overall ambition of becoming more “contemporary luxury”.

Like an editor-in-chief of a monthly magazine, this will require a great deal of juggling, vision, and orchestration skills. Coordination with the creative teams that lead each motorsports series internally, with the other creative directors to help grow the channel from a motorsport-only focus to a more lifestyle and contemporary luxury space, with the strategy department on how to plan out their yearly activities, and finally the hard task with client servicing of how to get the plans into motion.

The role will suit a social media native with an eye for design and the latest trends. An already established network in the automotive and motorsports scene is a plus. They should enjoy working in a high-paced, entrepreneurial, and energetic environment and on a client where real work gets made.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE

You will be the day-to-day lead on this global Porsche Motorsport Instagram channel for now. You’ll be helping to create high-quality global social media content that helps resonate with more than a motorsport audience. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for the following:

Orchestrating and final responsibility for the monthly content calendar.
Excellent art direction and copywriting skills to aid teams in content creation
Vision for future content or collaborations, from with the Porsche universe and beyond
Eye on key trends with recommendations on how to react fast
Coordination with social media manager/community manager for regular page maintenance
Coordination with the client on relevant daily reposts

HOW WE WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE ONE

At least 5 years of work marketing/advertising experience
At least 3 years+ of professional experience with social media
An entrepreneurial problem solver
A real passion for automotive/motorsports
Excellent attention to detail
High levels of intelligence, confidence, and a healthy dose of common sense
Personable, positive nature, good fun, the ability to fit well into a collaborative, friendly team
Curious mind… hungry to learn and experience new things
Required: Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal skills
