For the next generation of our THERMO KING and FRIGOBLOCK transport refrigeration systems we develop new electric and hybrid drive solutions. For our technology team in Essen, we are looking for you as a "Sustaining Engineer”.
Your Tasks
As part of our electrification team, you will accompany the life cycle of existing electronic and mechatronic products and initiate design changes to enable long-term availability and ensure the high quality of Thermo-King and Frigoblock products. This includes the following tasks in detail:
- Conduct analyses of component PCN (Product Change Notification) and production changes from our suppliers of electronic, electromechanical and mechanical components.
- Analyse the impact of component or production changes on Thermo King and Frigoblock products.
- Create change requests for our products to ensure consistent functionality and high quality.
- Plan and coordinate the required design changes.
- Introduce design changes into the production process.
Your Profile
- At least a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering science
- Preferred experience in dealing with high-voltage systems, especially with power electronic components
- Good command of spoken and written German and English
- Very good analytical skills, structured and independent way of working
- Very good communication skills and a team-oriented way of working
