The Department of Mathematics/Computer Science/Physics of Osnabrück University invites applications for the position of a
for the duration of 3 years to start November 1, 2024 or earlier.
Your Duties:
- Participation in experimental or simulation research in the field:
modelling of cantilever dynamics and modelling of the interaction of a tip with a local charge state - Contribution to teaching at the institute
- Participation in Research while working towards a PhD
Requirements:
- master degree in physics, mathematics or computer science
- proficiency in the German language or the determination to become fluent in German within a short time
Additional Qualifications:
- experience with numerical methods and large computer clusters
