Process engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)

Your Tasks

Independent, qualified evaluation of customer requirements and development of process concepts for thermal recycling plants
Definition of the technical concept
Process and thermal engineering design
Participation in design and warranty reviews
Participation in HAZOP and SIL assessments
Support and assistance during execution incl. commissioning
Maintenance and continuous improvement of design and standard templates
Securing of know-how by evaluation of operational results after order processing

Your Profile

Completed technical university studies, preferably process engineering, chemical engineering, power engineering or comparable studies
Several years of professional experience in the design of firing systems (fluidized bed and/or grate firing)
Knowledge in the use of Power Plant Simulator and Design Tool (PPSD) desirable.
Preparation of process and P&I flow diagrams in accordance with ISO and DIN standards
Preparation of functional descriptions and operating manuals
Familiar with hazard analyses and safety classes
Use of Windows applications especially Excel with VBA knowledge
Good understanding regarding contract related matters looking at project status/progress and potential impact to the department.
Conscientious and independent task completion
Business fluent German and English language skills
