Position

The Marketing AGSeleration Center is the cross-country marketing expertise centre complementing local marketing in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. It consists of the three teams Competence Center, Culture & Communication and the Channel Hub.

The Channel Hub overall is responsible for the channel know-how and excellence and applying it to cross-country (“AGS”) trade marketing projects. The Merchandising Manager AGS will be responsible for:

1. The local AGS assortment

2. Portfolio merchandising strategy & executions

3. Planograms by brand & portfolio (category, fixtures etc.)

4. Support of assortment & merchandising global agenda

5. Merchandising & assortment insights

Your role in a nutshell:

Lead the local assortment strategy across all channels for all three countries and build an AGS category strategy based on data to reflect market reality
Lead the product portfolio strategy and build clear merchandising Guidelines across the portfolio and deliver against them
Build a Visual Merchandising programming calendar and activate seasonal events with clear Merchandising Guidelines and prioritize across the portfolio based on country specific market insights and new product initiatives
Build wholistic data and insights-based brand & portfolio planograms and make them adaptable to different assortments, ensuring guidelines and the merchandising strategy is upheld in all stores across the AGS region
Build strong and collaborative relationships internally with other business functions and externally with relevant partners to help grow the business
Position MH as a strategic partner to drive overall category enhancement and leverage consumer insights/dat to deliver strategic recommendations & customer arguments
Execute weekly / monthly / seasonal merchandising/assortment performance analysis and develop action plans to maximize growth and optimize profit, using all available data points

Profile

Education:

Bachelor or Master in Business

Languages:

Local language (German) required, Fluent in English, French preferred

Professional experience & know how:

Experience in Trade related Marketing or customer experience
Experience in Merchandising & Assortment is a plus
Experience in working in a matrix organization
Experience in working with various agencies at the same time
Ideally experience within the three different markets (Germany / Austria / Switzerland)
Good understanding how to build and position luxury brands - understanding of MH brands
