As Welding Engineer (d/f/m) you will be responsible for cutting-edge projects engaging in diverse projects spanning industries in the energy field, where your expertise will directly impact groundbreaking innovations. You will collaborate with a team committed to pushing the envelope in welding technology, driving efficiency, and sustainability through inventive welding methodologies. You will have access to the latest tools, techniques, and training programs, empowering you to stay ahead in this dynamic field while honing your skills.

We are looking for a Welding Engineer fixed-term contract for two years to support our manufacturing engineering team in Celle, Germany.

You will join a team of manufacturing process experts to support the following activities:

• Welding and cladding process qualifications with a strong focus on suppliers in Asia and Central America

• Definition of qualification requirements and acceptance criteria

• Collaborating with internal and external laboratories

• Investigating failures on failed components

• Disposition of process deviations on production parts

• Acting as interface between research & development, internal and external manufacturing, quality assurance and our maintenance department

Show your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have successfully completed your engineering studies in mechanical engineering

• Have successfully completed your Welding Engineer certification

• Have good experience with welding and cladding processes

• Have excellent knowledge of DIN EN ISO 3834, 14922 and 22688

• Have independent and structured way of working as well as a high degree of self-motivation to work in a globally operating disciplinary team

• Be fluent in oral and written English and German skills and have interest in working with other cultures
