Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Edge AI Engineer to join our team at Orangewood Robotics. As part of our team, you will be working on cutting-edge robotics and AI technology, focusing on the development and implementation of AI solutions for our flagship product, the 6-Axis Robotic Arm.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Edge AI solutions for our 6-Axis Robotic Arm, ensuring the seamless execution of AI algorithms on edge devices.

2. Work closely with the software and hardware teams to integrate AI capabilities into the robot's control system, including control strategies, control algorithms, and advanced control techniques.

3. Optimize AI models for edge deployment, considering constraints related to power, memory, and computational capacity.

4. Implement machine learning and deep learning models, especially reinforcement learning, to enhance the robot's performance and adaptability.

5. Collaborate with the ROS and GPT integration teams to ensure the optimal utilization of these platforms in our robotic systems.

6. Contribute to the design and development of predictive and optimal control methods for robotic arm movements.

7. Collaborate with the team to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to AI, robotics, and edge computing.

8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Edge AI and robotics, and propose ways to incorporate relevant technologies into our products.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in AI, machine learning, and robotics.

3. Solid understanding of Edge AI technologies and constraints.

4. Experience with ROS, GPT, and other relevant platforms.

5. Proficiency in C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.

6. Experience with control strategies, control algorithms, and advanced control techniques in robotics.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team.

8. Excellent communication skills.
