We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive test cases and test scenarios, conducting thorough testing of new features, and performing regression tests. Your role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of Gertrud software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute manual test cases and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.

Identify, analyze, and document software defects and anomalies to assist in issue resolution.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and effective communication throughout the testing process.

Participate in product design and requirement review meetings to provide valuable insights from a QA perspective.

Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of existing functionality after introducing new features or making changes.

Document and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for process enhancement, automation opportunities, and best practices in software quality assurance.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and QA methodologies to enhance your skills and bring innovation to the testing process.

Solid experience as a Manual QA Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.

Proficient in creating clear and concise test cases, test plans, and test documentation.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.

Understanding of HTTP protocol and client-server architecture

Experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc)

Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect tracking and reporting.

Knowledge of various types of testing, including functional, regression, usability, and integration testing.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Availability at least 5 hours a day during EU time-zone working hours

Certification in software testing (such as ISTQB) is a plus.

Good level of written and conversational English
