Launch Excellence is a global function within Near Near Patient Care Operations Mannheim / Indianapolis, under Diagnostics Global Operations, responsible for providing Lifecycle and master data updates and system readiness for the Near Patient Care product portfolio.
The opportunity
As the Senior Master Data Manager (m/f/d) you are an expert in Material Master Data Management and understand the relevance of Master Data Maintenance to business processes. Your passion is to analyse master data and ensuring a high quality of information provided.
In this position you are responsible for the maintenance of material master data across Global Operations & Quality and across plants. You consult and support cross-functionally and across sites with your master data expertise.
Further, you collaborate closely with launch/lifecycle teams and strive for continuous optimization.
In this role you are able to work on process improvement projects and to manage senior/complex stakeholder environments. Your passion is to harmonize and standardize work, tools and processes.
You will report to the Chapter Lead Launch Excellence.
You will be responsible to:
Maintain master data and continuously improve data quality
Standardize & harmonize master data
Drive optimization of master data related processes in alignment with the Business Process Manager for Material Master Data
Consult functions on master data setup and impact on their processes
Assemble Windchill and SAP BOMs for production, process, and purchase orders.
Participate in strategic/special projects.
Ensure data that is no longer required is handed-over to the phase-out process.
As the Senior Master Data Manager you have the following skills and competencies:
Degree in Business, Product Development, Engineering, IT or related functions
3+ years of experience with SAP & Master Data or related discipline preferably within the Medical Device industry
Technical skills in SAP (Module Material Master) & other ERP knowledge, Windchill preferred
A willingness to challenge the status quo and passion to drive change
You are an excellent communicator & cross-functional collaborator. You are fluent in English, German preferable
