Your Role

Write your Master Thesis, possibly in combination with a prior Internship
Conduct comprehensive research on advanced statistical methods and time series forecasting techniques applicable to sales forecasting (with multivariate time series models)
Collaborate with our Data Science Team to analyze extensive sales data, identifying statistical patterns and trends
Contribute to the development of sophisticated statistical models for accurate sales forecasting, leveraging your statistical expertise
Engage in practical, hands-on projects that involve real-time business scenarios, providing an opportunity to apply statistical knowledge in a corporate setting
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including statisticians, data scientists, and business analysts, to integrate statistical insights into our forecasting models

Your Profile

Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar and a completed bachelor's degree in the mentioned fields
Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R
Solid understanding of the theory behind machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
You are a team player and like to interact with other departments
You feel comfortable communicating in English (German is a plus)
Work in a dynamic team in a flexible working model (mobile working)
