YOUR TASKS

• You hire, scale and nurture a team of senior Data Scientists. You keep them motivated by achieving an optimal balance between achievement and challenge
• The team is the central contact point for analytics demand in DEU region
• You work closely with the Engineering & ITO to enable Data Scientists to obtain the data they need, by building their own pipelines while guaranteeing an optimal and organic evolution of our ETL/ELT processes
• As product owner you and your team take the responsibility to deliver cross-functional analytics projects from end-to-end (from ideation to roll out)
• You define and execute the analytics strategy
• You take an active part in community management, training and communication
• You drive data literacy and data culture across Nordex Service
• You scan the market for developments in advanced analytics

YOUR PROFIL

• 5+ years of experience managing BI and advance analytics teams
• Experience of designing and deploying machine learning algorithms at scale
• University degree in Business, Economics or Information Technology
• You are an expert in working hands-on with data coming from a diverse variety of sources: knowledge of R, Shiny, SQL, familiarity with PYTHON
• Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or Tibco Spotfire
• Knowledge in cloud-based Machine Learning and Data Science products
• Solid experience in data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
• You have very good communication and leadership skills as well as intercultural awareness
• Enjoy new challenges in a motivated and dynamic environment
• Hands-on mentality and decision-making personality
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
