Based in Europe, close to an Emerson office and an International airport , a communicative business developer will collaborate with a multi-functional Pan-European team, crafting and implementing practical plans which result in profitable growth in the sustainable industries, helping to achieve a healthier world through Emerson’s “Greening of, Greening by and Greening with” strategy.

The successful candidate will develop and lead high value creation solutions targeting sustainable and green energy market opportunities and lead initiatives that promote Isolation Valves (ISV) growth with new technologies and processes being used to convert resources sustainably.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Assist in developing short term and long-term strategies for emerging technologies centric to green renewable process and overall decarbonization
Identify and develop relationships with key end-user, OEMs and licensors focused on hydrogen & sustainable energy
Align market requirements with product and service offerings
Collaborate with Product Champions to develop differentiating ISV solutions
Seize market opportunities to achieve year over year growth potential
Secure collaboration agreements, technical influence, and pilot plant participation
Work with Industry partners and Emerson colleagues on sustainability initiatives, accreditation, and evaluation of new opportunities
Provide leadership to drive and align global strategies to diversify industry participation across world areas

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
Detailed understanding of the sustainable / renewable market (e.g. hydrogen – electrolysis units, carbon capture, plastics recycling, bio-fuels and bio-chemicals markets) incl. applications, terminology and purchasing practices
Several years of successful experience in sales or business development & good technical understanding of in line flow devices (e.g. isolation valves, control valves or similar)
Proficient in English language, second language would be considered a plus
Travel up to 40% (Europe)
