Aufgaben

• You support activities at our water electrolysis pilot plant Duisburg with plant engineering, investigation and implementation of innovative R&D solutions in the field of green hydrogen applications.
• You coordinate the interface between product development and plant operating team and conduct technical conversations with internal development teams, national and international clients, suppliers, development partners and affiliates.
• You are responsible for consulting within the development teams during test ideation phase, implementation of test set-ups and coordination of test execution.
• You analyse results, prepare result presentation including clear conclusions and report the results to the development teams and business leader.
• You identify possible improvements, lead plant modifications, maintenance and prepare/adapt process and instrumentation documentation.
• You ensuring HSE compliance of technical equipment/processes and evaluating improvement proposals for risk and operation instructions.

Profil

• You have a university degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or similar.
• Your academic background is supplemented by adequate work experience, ideally in chemical plants, the field of alkaline water electrolysis or Chlor-Alkali technology.
• The ability to think analytically and identify development potentials, define and perform meaningful development projects and turn results into actual solutions is an absolute must.
• You are highly motivated for taking over ownership, have a hands-on mentality and are team-oriented.
• Your intercultural awareness supports you leveraging cultural differences.
• You are proficient in German and English.
• You are willing to travel inside Germany as well as internationally on a regular basis.
